Thirty minutes on your single biggest constraint.
The strategy audit is a working session, not a sales call. Problem framing run live on your situation — the same discipline that opens every paid engagement. Roughly half of these end with a recommendation not to hire anyone.
Book the audit
Fastest route. Pick a time directly.
What to bring: nothing prepared. A description of the situation is enough. If you happen to have a P&L summary, a funnel report or a cohort view to hand, the conversation gets sharper faster — but it is not a prerequisite.

Before you book
Is the audit genuinely free?
Yes, with no obligation and no follow-up sequence. It exists because the single most expensive mistake in this business is starting the wrong engagement, and thirty minutes is a cheap way to avoid it. It is also the most honest demonstration available: if the framing discipline is not useful in thirty minutes, it will not become useful over four weeks.
What if I am not ready to hire anyone?
Book it anyway. A meaningful share of these conversations end with a recommendation to fix something internally, wait a quarter, or hire a person rather than an advisor. That outcome costs nothing and is frequently the correct one.
How quickly do you reply?
Within one business day, usually sooner. If a message goes unanswered for longer than that, it did not arrive — resend it or use the calendar link directly.
Do you take on work outside the ten capabilities?
Occasionally, when the problem is adjacent and the method transfers. What will not happen is accepting an engagement outside genuine competence and figuring it out on your budget. If it is not a fit, you get a straight answer and, where possible, a pointer to someone better suited.
What happens after you book
Confirmation
A calendar invite with a video link and two short questions: your approximate revenue band, and the one thing you would fix if you could fix one thing.
Nothing required
No pre-work, no questionnaire, no data request. If a P&L summary or funnel report happens to be to hand it sharpens things faster, but it is not a prerequisite.
Structured framing
Five minutes on the situation in your words, ten reframing it into a precise question, seven naming the likely constraint and what would falsify it, and a straight answer on whether this is worth paying anyone to solve.
A written recap
One page: the question as reframed, the hypothesis, and what would be needed to confirm it. Yours to keep and to forward, whether or not anything follows.
Roughly half of these conversations end with a recommendation not to hire an advisor — fix it internally, wait a quarter, or hire a permanent person instead. That is not a rhetorical position. Starting the wrong engagement is the most expensive mistake available to both of us, and thirty minutes is a cheap way to avoid it.
